WE DEMAND A NEW ANIMAL SHELTER
Since 2005, 600,000 people have moved to the Las Vegas Valley, yet in that time, no new open admission shelters have been built. In that time the city has built police stations, libraries, parks and fire stations, but nothing to help the homeless animals. The current shelter, The Animal Foundation, is over-crowed, euthanasia is grossly up and there is a 4 week wait to turn in a stray. This is all unacceptable. The City needs to keep up with the needs of it's citizens and build a shelter now!
